Behind DelaMinate.clo

Hi,  I'm Dylan Murphy, I'm a 20-year-old designer based in Ireland with a simple mission: give forgotten clothing a second life worth wearing.

DelaMinate.Clo was born out of a love for streetwear and a frustration with fast fashion. Every piece starts its journey in a charity shop, an online secondhand listing, or a donation — and ends up as something entirely its own. Through bleach painting and dyeing, hand embroidery, stylish repairs, patchwork, paint and stencils, and careful work at the sewing machine, I transform overlooked garments into one-of-a-kind wearable art.

No two pieces are the same. That's the point.

Delaminate — to divide into layers. In materials, it's a breakdown. But I've always seen it differently. Every day, without thinking, we peel back layers — of choices, of identity, of who we're becoming. The decisions we make, big and small, are us dividing life into what matters and what doesn't. This brand is built on that idea. Strip it back. Find what's worth keeping.
